About the series

The ECHO (Extension for Community Health Outcomes) is a free, virtual learning workshop series designed to enhance healthcare professionals’ understanding and skills in neurodevelopmental diagnoses and care. 

Through this series, participants will:

  • Develop skills in autism diagnosis
  • Explore best practices in diagnostic evaluation, including administration and coding of the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule – Second Edition (ADOS-2)
  • Improve knowledge of differential diagnosis


What to expect

  1. Expert lecturers: Each session features a brief lecture related to differential diagnosis
  2. Case studies: Participants present real-life case studies from their practices, providing practical insights and learning opportunities.
  3. Group discussions: Open discussions follow the case presentations, allowing participants to share insights, ask questions, and engage with experts and peers.
