The McGill Library is looking forward to welcoming prospective McGill University students at Open House on Sunday, October 23, 2022 from 10:00am to 4:00pm.
We look forward to sharing with you information about McGill's libraries and collections. Below is a list of activities we have planned. We hope to see you there!
The Library will be offering the following activities:
- Drop in tours of the Humanities and Social Sciences Library from 10:00am to 4:00pm. Meet at the Welcome Table at the McLennan Library Building entrance.
- Tours of the Nahum Gelber Law Library at 12:15pm & 2:45pm. Meet at the Law Library Service Desk.
- Tours of the Marvin Duchow Music Library will be included in the Schulich School of Music building tours at 10:00am or 1:30pm. Both will depart from the Elizabeth Wirth Music Building lobby (527 Sherbrooke St West ). More information can be found here.
- Conversation with Dr. Alexandra Ketchum and Jacob Williams, curators of the exhibition LGBTQIA2S+ McGill Student, Faculty, and Staff Activism. In the McLennan Library Building Lobby at 1:30pm. Register for this session here.
- ROAAr collections visit. A 30-minute visit of the Visible Storage Gallery, ROAAr exhibition cases and Book Arts Lab with Associate Dean of ROAAr, Chris Lyons. Will depart from the McLennan Library Building Lobby following the above Curator Conversation.
