Meet Lisa Tomlinson (she/her), Local Wellness Advisor (LWA) for the School of Continuing Studies

  • Lisa is a mental health clinician who has over 15 years of experience providing support and guidance to individuals and groups. She has worked across academic, community, and private practice settings with students and young adults. 
  • Lisa’s role involves empowering students to overcome challenges that arise during their academic journey. This includes developing short-term wellness goals and connecting students to resources on and off campus, providing psychoeducational and skills-based workshops, outreach and wellness promotion, and individual one-on-one appointments. Lisa’s office can be found on the 11th floor of 680 Sherbrooke.
  • Apart from BuildingAHealthierMcGill, Lisa can be found with her nose in a Scandinavian crime novel, out for a run in the park, or furthering her knowledge and skills through continuing education.
