Meet Fanny Gutiérrez-Meyers (she/her), the Local Wellness Advisor (LWA) for the Faculty of Science

  • Fanny is a licensed mental health clinician who has worked across the world.
  • Fanny's role as a Local Wellness Advisor involves connecting students to appropriate resources on-and-off campus, providing psychoeducational and skills-based workshops, outreach and wellness promotion, as well as individual one-on-one appointments.
  • Before BuildingAHealthierMcGill Fanny lived and worked in Shanghai for five years. “I have a talent for finding the best “xiaolongbao” (Chinese soup dumplings) wherever I go. It’s the kind of talent best shared with friends!”

“I am very excited to be a part of a talented team that’s committed to student wellbeing. Mental health is health at the Hub.”
