Meet Marie-Eve Couture (she/her), Local Wellness Advisor (LWA) for the Faculty of Education

  • Marie-Eve Couture is a trained and licensed social worker, who has been working in the health and social service network for over 10 years. Marie-Eve is passionate about education and has worked in the alternate high school system and community centres.  
  • Marie-Eve's role as a Local Wellness advisor is acting as a liaison between the Faculty of Education and Student Services. This involves connecting students to appropriate resources on and off-campus, psychoeducational and skill-based workshops, outreach, and wellness promotion, as well as individual one on one appointments. 
  • BuildingAHealthierMcGill to Marie-Eve, means making time for the small stuff. Even short bursts of wellness can make the world of difference, like reading for leisure but especially walking her favorite pug, Bernice!
