Update: Zoom class zones, group study tables, and drop-in printing in Redpath Study Hub

Group study tables (updated April 5, 2021)

Students can book a group study table on the 3rd floor of the Redpath Library Building from 12PM-4PM (Monday to Friday). Tables are available for Groups of 2, 3, and 4 people.

As of April 6, one (1) group member must book the table on the 3rd floor of Redpath a minimum of 24 hours in advance of the time slot and provide the McGill email addresses of all group members. Bookings with incomplete information will be canceled. Only group members registered in advance will be able to sign in. Seats cannot be transferred to other individuals after the booking is made.

Tables can be booked in LibCal, the library’s booking system.


Zoom class zones

Zoom class zones are now open in the Redpath Study Hub, Cyberthèque floor. These are reserved for students attending virtual classes. Headphones are required. First come, first served with a Study Hub Cyberthèque floor booking.


Drop-in printing 

Drop-in printing is now available on the Cyberthèque level of the Redpath Library Building. Students must have their McGill ID with them to use the printers and will be asked to sign in at the door. Students must book a seat in order to access the printers at the Nahum Gelber Law Library. After printing, please follow the on-site self-sanitation guidelines to keep the printer clean. Computers are not available at any Hub.


Procedural masks are required in all Study Hub spaces, including the group study tables and Zoom class zones. Masks will be provided at the entrance for those without. Learn more about the Study Hubs and book a spot here.
