Small-scale digitization of rare and special collections available as of August 3rd

Published: 31Jul2020

Beginning the week of August 3rd, McGill Library will resume digitization of our rare and special collections on a small scale. The initial rollout of this service prioritizes the McGill community as it prepares for fall 2020 virtual teaching. McGill students, faculty, and staff may place requests using the on-demand digitization form.

Requests must meet our condition, copyright, and collection criteria, and a copy of the digitized material will be added to our repository and catalogue for others to find and use.

Please note that access to primary resources on site is not possible at this time. Information about access to library spaces and collections is updated regularly on the Library’s home page.

Please rarebooks.library [at] mcgill.ca (contact us) with any questions.
