Service outage with WorldCat Local and other OCLC services (RESOLVED)

Published: 26 February 2015

OCLC is experiencing a generalised outage across many of its platforms including WorldCat Local, the link resolver, QuestionPoint, Colombo (interlibrary loan), EZProxy (off-campus proxy access).

We will update this page with addtional information as it becomes available.

5:19 PM: Service has been restored to all OCLC services.

4:27 PM: Access to most OCLC services appears to be restored. The one known exception is the eJournals A-Z list (also known as the link resolver) which is still unavailable.

4:22 PM: We are getting reports that people are seeing their access to some OCLC services restored.

4:15 PM: Update from OCLC: "OCLC members may experience intermittent connectivity when attempting to connect to OCLC services due to an issue with a 3rd party service provider. OCLC is working with this provider to get services restored as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience as we work to get them to resolve this issue." [source: OCLC System Alerts]
