HathiTrust Emergency Temporary Access Service ends September 1

During the pandemic Library users have benefitted from the HathiTrust Emergency Temporary Access Service (ETAS). With the opening of the Library for the fall term on September 1, access to the physical stacks will be reinstated and our agreement with Hathi Trust will come to an end.

The Hathi Trust WMS collection currently containing the links to these resources is sizeable and in order to allow sufficient time for links to de-populate from Sofia (McGill's discovery search tool/catalogue) the collection will be shut off on August 31.

Please note that due to the number of records involved, it is likely that these Hathi ETAS records will continue to show as held by McGill but without a Hathi link for several days afterward while our holdings are removed.
