Virtual Book Club | ROAAr Book Club, Children’s Edition

Event

McLennan Library Building Rare Books and Special Collections, McLennan Library Building 4th floor, 3459 rue McTavish, Montreal, QC, H3A 0C9, CA

Let’s Talk Books! ROAAr Book Club, Children’s Edition

From Goodnight Moon to Alice in Wonderland, Children’s books hold appeal and a fascination for all ages. The illustrations engage the senses, the stories charm, educate, and sometimes frighten. Start your new year with a new club – join Elis Ing, curator of the Children’s Literature Collection and Jacquelyn Sundberg for the first edition of the ROAAr Book Club.

Connect with others as we read and discuss a selection of books from the Children’s Literature Collection, with a special focus on fairy tales and folk tales.

Come with a coffee and take part in the conversation. Stay for a show and tell of your favourite fairy tale collections.

Virtual book club begins at 4 PM (EST)

This event is now full. If you're interested in future meetings of the book club, check out a full list on our blog: https://news.library.mcgill.ca/roaar-book-club/
