2019 Library Census Day is November 19

On Tuesday, November 19th, 2019, the McGill Library will conduct a one-day census to learn more about our users. This will help make decisions regarding improvements to Library services and spaces. For example, the 2018 Library Census Day results will be compared against this year’s results to identify similarities and differences in the usage of our spaces. The purpose of this comparison will be to determine the impact of library branch changes over the past twelve months.

Library and security staff will ask visitors entering Library spaces to scan their McGill ID cards on Tuesday, November 19th. Those without a McGill ID card will be asked to select their status (e.g. McGill undergraduate student, staff person, a member of the general public, visiting scholar, etc.) on a paper form.
