A small number of McGill faculty members need the option to borrow a large number items to conduct their research and teaching activities. However, as per BCI agreement, users can only borrow 100 items at a time.
To address the needs of McGill faculty members who need the option to borrow more than 100 items to conduct their research and teaching activities, faculty members can now request a second borrowing card, known as a Faculty Research Card.
This extra Faculty Research Card will allow faculty members to borrow 100 items in addition to the 100 they can borrow on their regular McGill card. The same rules concerning fines, loan periods, and automatic renewals will apply on both cards.
Please note that the same loan policies and return policies apply to items borrowed using your Faculty Research Card.
