Borrowing Seeds

The Macdonald Seed Library collection is housed at the Macdonald Campus Library, and is open yearly for browsing from early spring to mid-summer. Seed Library members may choose to select seeds in person, or use the online order form.

Seeds will be sent to the McGill Libraries location of your choice. Borrowing is open to McGill students, faculty, staff, alumni and community membership holders. There is a limit of 25 seed packets per borrower per season and a limit of 1 pack per variety.

Please note that seeds are distributed on a first come, first served basis, and we may run out of your requested seeds. If this is your first time borrowing seeds, please register with the Macdonald Campus Seed Library.
