White Rose Scholarships

Value: $50,000 (non-renewable) 

Application deadline: May 6, 2026

 
Eligibility: 

  • a female/identify as female
  • a Canadian citizen or permanent resident 
  • a graduate of an engineering program at a Canadian university having completed her bachelor's degree in December 2025, or be in the process of completing it in May or August 2026 
  • Enrolled, or in the process of enrolling, in a graduate studies program in engineering (master’s or PhD) to begin the year after receiving her bachelor’s degree

The White Rose Scholarship was created to commemorate the tragic events that took place at Polytechnique Montréal on December 6, 1989, and to pay tribute to the victims, their families, the wounded, as well as the faculty members, employees and students who were forever affected by this event.
