New Ethics Option Available to ISS Graduate Trainees
The ISS Program is pleased to announce a new option in our suite of professional skills workshops from our partner the McGill SKILLSETS Program:
Human Biomedical Research Ethics: Guiding You in the Right Direction
Are you new to the research environment? Contemplating conducting a biomedical study on humans? The purpose of this workshop is to help you identify ethical issues that can emerge throughout the research process and learn about the principles, policies and laws central to the rights and well-being of research participants.
Most useful those of you considering or developing sensors for medical use- this half-day workshop will provide valuable background information on the steps and requirements involved in bringing a product or device through the necessary clinical testing for use on humans.
The first such workshop is coming up soon on Monday September 23rd!
This workshop can be taken in addition to or instead of the Academic Integrity World Cafe requirement.
