My research objective is to reveal the large-scale mechanisms of brain electrophysiology: how activity manifests within brain regions, how functional connectivity shapes brain systems in a dynamical fashion, how brain circuitry conditions the emergence of behavior and cognition. My approaches include computational models, imaging and biosignal analytics, the delivery of data repositories and software tools following the principles of open science. Through a deeper comprehension of key mechanisms of brain functions, I aim to enable new approaches for the prevention of brain disorders, for early individualized diagnostic, and for leveraging innovation for brain health maintenance and clinical interventions.
