From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to McGill students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.


Du samedi 5 octobre au lundi 7 octobre, le campus du centre-ville et le campus Macdonald ne seront accessibles qu’aux étudiants et aux membres du personnel de l’Université McGill, ainsi qu’aux visiteurs essentiels. Engaged Learning in Engineering (ELINE)

ELINE is a student-led committee under the mandate of the Engineering Undergraduate Society (EUS). ELINE’s mission is to:

  • Empower students to take charge of their learning
  • Host educational workshops, networking events, and an annual conference
  • Promote equity, diversity, and inclusion to accommodate students from all backgrounds

Their achievements include:

  • Running educational workshops for students
  • Facilitating student discussion forums on equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility in higher education
  • Launching The Remoteness of It All, a podcast about how the COVID-19 pandemic affected the McGill Engineering community
  • Hosting an annual student conference on learning
