Course Registration

Returning and Newly admitted students must register on Minerva:

This is McGill’s web-based student information system minerva where you will find up-to-date class schedules, including course descriptions and class space availability, your transcript, fee information and tax receipts. Please note:

• Students who have not paid their fees or have not submitted the required documentation for Permanent Code validation cannot register on Minerva;
• If you are registering for a course in which you are waiting for the final grade of a pre-requisite course, you should register under the assumption that you have passed the pre-requisite course;

New students (not admitted to a program) must contact the School for registration:

Advising – By appointment:

Students who would like to take the opportunity to speak with a program advisor may do so by emailing the Career, Advising, and Transition Services team at program.advising.scs [at] mcgill.ca.

e-Billing/ePayment:

All invoices are issued electronically online via MINERVA. Students can view and pay invoices online.

e-Mail:

All students must activate their private and secure McGill e-mail account. E-mail is the official means of communication used by McGill. To access and activate your McGill e-mail account, go to: www.mcgill.ca/minerva
