Required documentation for students applying to CONAHCyT
To be provided by the department
- Offer of Admission letter
- Student must be officially offered admission to the program. Therefore, this letter must be generated by SLATE.
- Graduate Fees Table
- Your Graduate Program Coordinator has access to a document with Graduate Fee Tables for CONAHCyT applicants. If they do not provide you with this document, you can request it from graduatefunding.gps [at] mcgill.ca (Graduate Funding). Please note that you should not use the fees on our schedule, since the amounts need to match our agreement with CONAHCYT and take into consideration exchange rates (CONAHCyT assigns scholarships in USD)
- CONAHCyT may require information the program. Student should reach out to the department graduate program coordinator for a departmental website where you can find this information, but a good place to start is the e-Calendar and/or departmental website. More information about CONAHCyT requirements are available here.

- Post Graduate Students' Society: It is an association of all graduate students and postdoctoral fellows at McGill. They will support you throughout your academic work at McGill and to serve as a resource if you ever need help dealing with the University or life in Montreal.
- International applicants are eligible to apply for funding if student has been registered at a Quebec institution 2 terms of the previous 3 terms prior to the competition deadline or have a valid RAMQ (Quebec Health Insurance) card. Please find details about FRQ opportunities here
