Research Assistant 1 – Teamwork Facilitator
Nadia Moukanni is a soil scientist with a Ph.D. in Soils and Biogeochemistry, an undergraduate degree in Agricultural Engineering, and experience in industry and research. She is also a Certified Reinvention Practitioner who helps individuals and groups anticipate, design, and implement change proactively and systematically. Drawing inspiration from regenerative soils, Nadia uses nature as a mentor to explore the conditions conducive to an inclusive and flourishing learning environment for students, the future leaders and changemakers. In her role with the Office of E-IDEA, she contributes to research exploring how interpersonal skill development can support innovation and knowledge creation and contribute to bridging the knowing-doing gap.

Reem Ramadan (they/them)
Research Assistant 1 - Learning and Development Practitioner
Reem Ramadan is a Learning and Development Practitioner who collaborates with professors and students to foster teamwork skills through an EDI lens. They hold an MA in Human Systems Intervention from Concordia University and a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the American University of Beirut. Their background in Computer Science, combined with expertise in group development theory and facilitation, allows them to approach EDI and teamwork issues in STEM comprehensively by integrating personal experience with theory and formal knowledge. In their role with the Office of E-IDEA, Reem contributes to research exploring how experiential methods can support the integration of teamwork skills and EDI practices across engineering courses and student projects.

Renée Pellissier (she/they)
Research Assistant 2 - Teamwork Program Lead
Renée Pellissier is a Learning and Development Practitioner specializing in group dynamics, experiential learning, and qualitative research. As the Teamwork Program Lead, Renée develops adaptive partnerships with course instructors and departments to integrate inclusive pedagogy into undergraduate curricula. They also contribute to research advancing teamwork and EDI skills in engineering education. With an MA in Human Systems Intervention and a BA in Human Relations from Concordia University, as well as experience across the public, private, and non-profit sectors, Renée is an experienced facilitator who believes in collaborative methods and a systems approach to change.
