Projections: Sankofa Launch

Please join us for the launch of Projections: Sankofa, a digital exhibit that showcases African and Caribbean cultural heritage through contemporary artistic impression. The exhibition is part of the broader art series, Projections, that aims at strengthening the inclusion of underrepresented groups through art. 

The event will include the presentation of 14 digital works from contemporary Black artists, live DJs from CKUT, an interactive art station, and Caribbean food catered by Chef Sean SNS. All are welcome! 

Projections: Sankofa is a partnership between a curatorial team of Black students at McGill and members the Faculty of Engineering and the Visual Arts Collection.

The event is free and open to the public.
