About Me Sébastien Fiset

Graduated from Sherbrooke University in 1997 and member of the Quebec Bar since 2002, Me Sébastien Fiset has more than two decades of experience in the real estate business and about 20 years as a lawyer specializing in co-ownership law.

Me Fiset has extensive experience in the management and administration of condominiums, having previously exercised the profession of condominium manager for a property management firm, after obtaining a bachelor’s degree in finance from HEC Montreal in 2001.

Managing partner and founder in 2009 of the Fiset Legal law firm, Me Fiset is the author of several texts on real estate law. He also participates in various conferences as a speaker. He is as well a lecturer at McGill University since 2016 where he teaches the course Fundamentals of Property and Co-Ownership Law in Quebec. He is also an accredited mediator and arbitrator (IMAQ and the Quebec Bar) in civil law disputes, in the fields of real estate, co-ownership and construction litigation, which functions have led him, as a mediator, to participate in the out-of-court resolution of several disputes and, as an arbitrator, to settle numerous disputes through arbitration awards.

Me Fiset holds other certifications and attestations in finance, from the Association paritaire pour la santé et la sécurité du travail du secteur de la construction and in real estate brokerage. He is fluent in French, English and Spanish.

His areas of practice include condominium law, real estate law, construction law, contract law, insurance law, guarantee plans, mediation and arbitration, financing, as well as training in condominium law.
