The McGill Food Systems Project, initiated by a small group of students together with a few core staff members three years ago, is considered a successful example of organizational change that contributes to environmental sustainability. The goal of this project is to understand the MFSP's past and current change process for two purposes. First, resources from the SPF will be used to develop an organizational change model and toolkit, based on the experience of the McGill Food Systems Project, which could be used to manage sustainability efforts on campus. Second, they will recommend the development of reflexive organizational systems, which may help further institutionalize the program within the McGill community.
