McGill Sustainability Fair 2012

PHI Centre & McGill University, CA, CA

Vision 2020 is headlining McGill’s second annual Sustainability Fair on Lower Field! Come learn about the McGill community’s sustainability initiatives at this country-fair style event, find out what Vision 2020 has been up to over the summer, and help us refine a vision and goals for McGill’s sustainable future.

In the Vision 2020 tent you can tour a museum-esque exhibit on the history of sustainability at McGill, paint your sustainability vision, and join some facilitated conversations on the Vision 2020 themes of research, teaching, connectivity, governance and institutional footprint. These conversations will feed directly into McGill’s Vision 2020 sustainability plan. Your voice is needed! (And your participation will earn you a chance to win a weekend apple-picking adventure for 4 at the Gault Nature Reserve, including a stay at their secluded private cabin).

Attendees will also be able to meet a calf from the Mac Farm, donate unwanted electronics, sample some sustainable food offerings, and watch the film H2Oil with an intro from director Shannon Walsh.
