Did someone recently make changes to information in your Minerva account?
Students will receive an email notification when changes are made to any of the following information in their Minerva account:
- Address
- Telephone number
- Social Insurance Number
- Security Questions
If you received an email notifying you of changes to your Minerva account and do not know who made these changes (e.g. yourself or administrative staff), we suggest changing BOTH your Minerva PIN and McGill username password in Minerva under the Personal Menu. Applicants and guests should change their Minerva PIN only under the Personal menu in Minerva.
How can I report unauthorized changes to my Minerva account?
For security purposes you should never share you login credentials with anyone. If your Minerva account has been compromised you must contact IT Support for assistance and notify Security Services.
What should I do if I can’t access my Minerva account?
Students, alumni, instructors, and staff should contact the IT Service Desk at 514-398-3398 for immediate help. Applicants and guests should contact Service Point.
