Learner Mistreatment

McGill University’s Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences is committed to promoting and maintaining the highest standards of behaviour in all of its members in order to provide a healthy and safe learning environment and to better serve society. Learner mistreatment includes sexual, racial, or gender mistreatment as well as physical abuse and verbal mistreatment in the form of humiliation and belittlement (www.mcgill.ca/harass/).

For campus-based incidents of harassment, discrimination or sexual violence, please contact McGill’s Senior Equity & Inclusion Advisor.

The Office for Respectful Environments is responsible for the intake of mistreatment reports in clinical learning environments, triaging mistreatment reports and monitoring the progress of each incident dossier. Should you choose to submit an incident report for mistreatment in a clinical learning environment, please explore your reporting options here.

Learner Wellness

If you would like to make an appointment with a Wellness Consultant/Advisor, please do so via the WELL Office Contacts and Appointments webpage.
