The Manager role in Workday is assigned to anyone who has employees who report to them. Workday Training has been designed to meet your specific needs as a Manager.
Below is a curriculum of mandatory training sessions for Managers, to enable them to do common Workday actions such as, signing job offer letters, approving time off requests, and approving hours worked (if their employees enter time). Optional training sessions are also available to Managers who would like to use the full spectrum of their allowed Workday actions, such as initiating personnel management processes for the employees reporting to them, such as job or compensation changes, recruitment, and costing allocation.
Please consult with your HR and Academic Affairs Partners to review the level of support they provide and whether optional training sessions would be beneficial for you.
