Differential Fee Waivers (DFWs) are available to non-Canadian graduate students at McGill University whose visa status requires them to pay full international tuition fees. It covers only the international student supplement.

The Stavros S. Niarchos Foundation Fellowships for Excellence in Graduate Education were created in celebration of the 70th anniversary of Canada-Greece Relations. Preference is given to incoming Greek citizens.                           

In partnership with McGill University, the China Scholarship Council (CSC) offers scholarships to outstanding Chinese students who will pursue doctoral studies or hold a postdoctoral position at McGill University.

McGill is proud to partner with the National Council of Science and Technology (CONACyT), the Mexican Foundation for Education, Technology and Science (FUNED) and EDUCAFIN to co-sponsor Mexican students  to pursue their graduate studies at McGill. 

The Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Court, under the direction of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, and McGill University have established the McGill-UAE Fellowships in Science and                 Engineering.                                                        

The Abdulla Al Ghurair Foundation for Education (AGFE) is devoted to equipping Arab youth with the knowledge and skills they need to fulfill their promise as the futures leaders of the region.
Please note that the Al Ghurair STEM Scholarships will not be offered at McGill University for new admissions in 2019-2020.

In partnership with McGill University, the Islamic Development Bank "IDB" provides scholarships for citizens of countries which are members of the IDB to attract outstanding academic merit scholars to pursue their PhD studies in the fields of Science and Technology at McGill University.

The Bangamata National Cellular and Molecular Research Centre (BNCMRC) and McGill have established a generous program of scholarships for Bangladeshi PhD students and postdoctoral fellows to pursue their studies or training at McGill University.

In partnership with McGill University, the Organization of American States (GS/OAS) offers scholarships to outstanding students from the Americas who will pursue a PhD or Thesis-based Master's program at McGill University.

The Tunisian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (TMHESR) and McGill have come together to co-sponsor Tunisian students pursuing a PhD or Thesis-based Master's program at McGill University.
