Course Registration

  1. Get started by visiting Preparing for Course Registration, then watch Intro to Course Registration: using Minerva to register for courses.  Exchange students should consult McGill Abroad.
  2. Attend Your Faculty's Info Session.  Each faculty or school offers tailored advising and registration sessions:

Language Courses

English or French as a second language courses

Placement tests are required before you can register for an English or French as a second language course in Minerva.

Other language courses

Placement tests for other languages are not required for course registration. Simply estimate your level of the language and your professor will confirm this on the first day of class.
