We are happy to welcome you on campus in Fall 2024. McGill Welcome Week and Orientation is your opportunity to get to know McGill University, meet new friends, explore Montreal and kick off your first year at McGill University! Trying to plan your arrival date in Montreal? Here are some key dates:   

  • Move-in weekend on the Downtown Campus will be from Saturday August 17 and Sunday August 18 

  • For Macdonald Campus activities, move-in weekend will be on Saturday August 17 and Sunday August 18. Check the Faculty's orientation webpage for more information.

SSMU & MCSS Frosh 

SSMU and MCSS Frosh are your introduction to McGill campus, with events, activities, and fun hosted by faculties and student groups! SSMU and MCSS Frosh will start during McGill Welcome Week (the week of August 19). Visit the Frosh Registration site for dates and information.
