As a new student to our Engineering and Architecture programs, you are encouraged to attend registration and orientation sessions. These sessions will help you navigate course registration, understand your degree requirements, access key academic and support resources, and connect with fellow students as you prepare for your first term and campus life at McGill.
Registration sessions
Before registering for courses, all newly admitted Engineering and Architecture students are encouraged to attend introductory registration how-to sessions.
How to register sessions (May-June)

Mandatory for Global Engineering students only
Transfer credit information sessions
Students with questions about transfer credits are encouraged to attend a Transfer Credit Information Session.
Orientation sessions (August)
Faculty of Engineering orientation session
Designed for all students, including special, visiting, and exchange students, this session is a great way to meet the larger Faculty of Engineering community and learn about the many resources for your academic and personal success.
