Diversity in Industry Speaker Panel

McGill’s EUS Equity , the Engineering Career Centre, POWE McGill are co-hosting a new initiative to promote a dialogue around diversity across industries. 

Attend our panel event on November 21st and engage in a stimulating conversation with industry professionals from Rio Tinto Canada, Société Générale, and more! 

Each panelist will discuss a diversity-related topic of their choice and then the floor will be open to your questions. The panel will be followed by a casual networking session over refreshments. 

Topics can include, but are not limited to: 

• Combatting implicit barriers as a visible minority in a company/firm
• Battling imposter syndrome as a young professional
• Being a female professional in a male-dominated environment
• Mental health awareness
• Navigating the workplace with a disability 
• Promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace
