Chaplaincy runs Student Survey on Shared Values, with prizes

McGill Ecumenical Chaplaincy has launched an online student survey on Shared Values: http://ca.studentvoice.com/mcgill/valuesintro. There are two $100 prizes to be won: a draw prize and a winner's prize for a poster research and design competition.

The voters have spoken: Greatest McGillians are Chang, Cohen and Rutherford

After nearly 60,000 votes and months of sometimes furious debate, the results are in for the Greatest McGillians contest. Wilson Hall reopens

Wilson Hall, 3506 University Street, has reopened this afternoon following flooding Thursday evening caused by a burst pump in the pumping station on Dr. Penfield Avenue. While some damage occurred on the building's lower level to aid in the pumping of water, this will be repaired in due course. Please click on title above for full announcement.

McTavish Street reopens after flooding

Following severe flooding Thursday evening caused by a burst pump in the City of Montreal pumping station on Dr. Penfield Avenue, McTavish Street is now reopened to pedestrian traffic. Meanwhile, Wilson Hall remains closed. Please click on title above for full announcement.

Message to the McGill community: Now that the strike has begun

on behalf of Michael Di Grappa, Vice-Principal (Administration and Finance) The McGill University Non-academic Certified Association (MUNACA) began a general strike at 6 a.m. this morning. MUNACA represents many of the clerical workers, as well as lab technicians and other support staff who work at McGill. It is unfortunate that we have been unable to agree on terms for a new contract.
