Environmental Design Competition Winners

June 26, 2009 Congratulations to undergraduate Bioresource Engineering students: Marie Manchester, Amy McClintock and Jenna Senecal-Smith who have won the Environmental Design Competition of the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE) in Reno, Nevada. They presented their project work extremely well and answered questions from the audience and judges with great ease.

Winners of the 2009 Canadian Society for Bioengineering (CSBE) Technical Conference in Prince Edward Island

Excellent news: 1.David Giard has won third place in the Paper Competition at the 2009 Canadian Society for Bioengineering (CSBE) Technical Conference in Prince Edward Island. 2.Marie Manchester, Amy McClintock, and Jenna Senecal-Smith won the 2009 Undergraduate Thesis Award for McGill University. 3.Limei Chen won the Graduate Thesis Award for McGill University.

Extended opening hours at the Macdonald Campus Library April 11 - April 25

The Macdonald Campus Library will be open until 10:00 pm on Fridays and Saturdays from Saturday, April 11 until Saturday, April 25. Access to the building after service hours is restricted to users with valid McGill photo ID cards. These extended opening hours are made possible through the financial assistance of the Macdonald Campus Students' Society.

These awards are meant to stimulate interest in research in the natural sciences and engineering and to encourage students to undertake graduate studies and pursue a research career in these fields. Extended study hours at Macdonald Campus Library

The Macdonald Campus Library will be extending their opening hours for the exam period in December. The Library will close at 10 pm on Friday December 5, Saturday December 6, Friday December 12, and Saturday December 13.
