Funding Options

There are several funding options available at McGill to help students, staff, and faculty complete Campus as Living Lab projects on campus.

Sustainability Projects Fund

Valued at $1 million annually, the Sustainability Projects Fund (SPF) is the largest fund of its kind in Canada and provides seed-funding for sustainability projects at McGill. Consider using the SPF to put your applied student research ideas into action. Projects supported by the SPF must be on campus, sustainability-focused, in need of seed-funding, and action-oriented. Any current McGill students, staff members, or faculty members can apply for funding.

Bieler School of Environment Experiential Learning Fund

The Bieler School of Environment Experiential Learning Fund (BELF) provides financial support for experiential learning opportunities in the field of the environment. The fund is open to current McGill undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in Bieler School of Environment degree programs or working with Bieler School of Environment faculty or associate members.
