Office of Sponsored Research (OSR) - CIHR Project Grant Information Session

The purpose of CIHR’s Project Grant is to support a diverse portfolio of health-related research and knowledge translation proposals at any stage, from discovery to application, including commercialization; promote relevant collaborations across disciplines, professions, and sectors; and contribute to the creation and use of health-related knowledge.

Researchers who are planning to apply to the upcoming CIHR Project Grant competition are encouraged to consult the attached Project Grant Registration FAQ and to attend this information session, which will include:

  • presentation about the objectives and full application requirements of the CIHR Project Grant by Katarina Stojkovic, Grants and Agreements Officer, OSR;
  • A presentation on tips and best practices by Dr. Nathan Spreng, Professor, Department of Neurology & Neurosurgery and previous successful Project Grant applicant and peer reviewer; and
  • A question and answer period where participants will be encouraged to raise any questions they may have about the program or the application process.
