Office of Sponsored Research (OSR)
OSR Checklist & Other Forms The OSR Checklist is a shared tool that captures the roles and responsibilities of PI, Department, Faculty, and OSR. It also assists in the assessment of availability of resources as well as assists in data collection and reporting. McGill requires a duly signed OSR Checklist for all funding administered via OSR.

Office of Sponsored Research reopens in James Building

Research and International Relations is pleased to announce that the Office of Sponsored Research (OSR) has returned to the James Administration Building, as of Monday, May 13, 2013.

Due to extensive flooding in the James Building in February, McGill temporarily relocated OSR staff off campus. Thank you for your support, patience, and flexibility during the period while we were displaced.

As previously communicated, the Tri-Agency (NSERC, SSHRC and CIHR) conducted a financial monitoring review at McGill in 2010 that now requires us to address significant concerns pertaining to the management of grant funds – more specifically, elements of McGill’s control framework for the administration of grant funds. A Steering Committee and Advisory Committee at McGill were created to direct and validate solutions proposed by the Tri-Agency Response Implementation Group (TRIG) to address the Tri-Agency recommendations.
