The Office of Sponsored Research (OSR) is pleased to invite McGill researchers and administrators to an information session on CIHR Project Grant
The purpose of CIHR’s Project Grant is to support a diverse portfolio of health-related research and knowledge translation proposals at any stage, from discovery to application, including commercialization; promote relevant collaborations across disciplines, professions, and sectors; and contribute to the creation and use of health-related knowledge.
Researchers who are planning to apply to the upcoming CIHR Project Grant competition are encouraged to consult the Project Grant Registration FAQ and to attend this information session, which will include:
- A presentation about the objectives and full application requirements of the CIHR Project Grant by Katarina Stojkovic and Agapi Agapitos, Grants and Agreements Officers, OSR;
- A presentation on tips and best practices by Dr. Boris Bernhardt, Assistant Professor, Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery and previous successful Project Grant applicant and peer reviewer; and
- A question and answer period where participants will be encouraged to raise any questions they may have about the program or the application process.
Those who are unable to attend and would like to view last year’s session are invited to contact katarina.stojkovic [at] mcgill.ca (Katarina Stojkovic).
Registration is closed. Please contact Kathleen Therrien (kathleen.therrien [at] mcgill.ca) if you would like to attend.
