Mobile Migration to Bell – Instructions (eSIM)

Your mobile service will be transferred to the Bell network during this period.


PREPARATION (IMPORTANT)

Before your scheduled time window, ensure that:

  • Your phone is connected to Wi‑Fi
  • Your phone is charged (>20%)
  • You have access to your device settings

WHAT WILL HAPPEN

You are already using an eSIM configured on your phone.

  • No prior action is required
  • Do not scan the QR code
  • You will automatically receive a PUSH notification
  • Follow the on-screen instructions
  • The process takes only a few seconds
  • Your phone will switch to the Bell network

MANUAL eSIM INSTALLATION (if it does not install automatically)

iPhone

  • Ensure your device is running iOS 13 or later and is connected to the internet
  • Go to Settings > Cellular > Add eSIM
  • Select Use QR Code
  • Scan the QR code
  • Or enter details manually:
    • SM-DP+ Address: bmc.prod.ondemandconnectivity.com
    • Leave the activation code blank

Samsung

  • Ensure your device is running Android 12 or later and is connected to the internet
  • Go to Settings > Connections > SIM Manager
  • Select Add eSIM > Scan QR Code
  • Or enter manually:
    • Activation code: bmc.prod.ondemandconnectivity.com
  • Follow the on-screen instructions

TROUBLESHOOTING

  • SOS mode: restart your phone and reconnect to Wi‑Fi
  • Remove old eSIMs if necessary
  • Remove or disable the physical Telus SIM
  • Check your Wi‑Fi connection
  • Turn airplane mode on/off, then try again
