The Student Experience Enhancement Fund (SEEF) for the Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (FAES) supports extracurricular experiential learning initiatives. These active learning opportunities foster intentional reflection and the acquisition of knowledge, skills, and values that complement the traditional classroom experience. Open to undergraduate students and Farm Management and Technology students.

M3D Workshop #2

Tutorial session to learn how to create 3D objects using Onshape, which can then be printed! No experience is needed, we will be starting from scratch!

Let's Talk Microbiology & Antimicrobial Resistance: A One Health Perspective Symposium

Join Let’s Talk Science at McGill University and the McGill Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Centre Outreach Team for a free, hands-on day exploring microbiology and antimicrobial resistance through a One Health lens. Students (High School/CEGEP) will investigate how AMR is shaped not only by microbes but also by human practices in the healthcare system, agriculture, and community.

Mac Halloween - The Witch Trials

Mac Halloween is a party hosted every year by MCSS for Mac students and friends. It is filled with music, dancing and fun costumes.

Let's Talk Digital Literacy Symposium

Join Let’s Talk Science at McGill University and the McGill Initiative in Computational Medicine (MiCM) for a free day exploring computational approaches used in modern biology. This one-day symposium introduces students to coding and digital tools applied in fields such as genomics, neuroscience, and ecology.

Through hands-on sessions and discussions, participants explore artificial intelligence (AI), digital literacy, and critical thinking in the digital age.
