Class Gift
Class of Mechanical Engineering 1971
In Celebration of our class’ 50th Anniversary our class is leaving a lasting legacy at McGill by funding in perpetuity at least two annual Summer Undergraduate Research in Engineering (SURE)* awards for Mechanical Engineering students. We want to continue to make this world a little bit better by keeping the passion of our cohort alive through those who receive a Mechanical Engineering Class of 1971 SURE Award.
*The Summer Undergraduate Research in Engineering (SURE) program offers summer research traineeships. SURE award recipients work closely with a McGill Engineering professor on one of their research projects for 16 weeks in the summer. The program provides exposure to the research experience as well as opportunities to learn more about the graduate school experience and about careers in research.
