I am eager to build new expertise in support of health promotion and community engagement initiatives, working as a program coordinator or project assistant, by supporting management and teams, and by fostering key partnerships.

I am an IT Professional and E-Commerce Specialist with over 10 years of experience helping businesses grow through technology, digital strategy, and innovation. Over my career, I have advanced from entry-level roles into IT leadership, while also developing expertise in e-commerce, branding, and business development.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in E-Commerce and continue to sharpen my skills in digital transformation, leadership, and cross-cultural collaboration. In 2022, I relocated to Canada to further my professional growth, embrace new cultural experiences, and contribute to digital innovation on a global scale.

Beyond my career, I am a certified scuba diving instructor, licensed drone pilot, and content creator who enjoys capturing stories from unique perspectives. Guided by faith, creativity, and curiosity, I strive to integrate technology, strategy, and human connection to create meaningful impact in both business and community.

I bring experience from working in a B2B company and as a freelancer in Saudi Arabia, where I successfully navigated and thrived in a challenging environment.

I’m a Mechanical Aeronautical Engineer with a passion for aviation that took flight in my childhood. Watching airplanes soar overhead sparked a deep curiosity in me and how something so massive could move so gracefully through the sky. That early wonder grew into a determination to understand the science behind flight and contribute to the future of aerospace innovation.

My academic and hands-on experience covers the full engineering cycle from concept to assembly, with a strong foundation in aerodynamics, thermodynamics, propulsion, and structural mechanics. I work confidently with tools like SolidWorks, AutoCAD, FEA, and CFD to design and optimize complex systems.

As a dynamic team leader or player and solution-focused engineer, I’ve improved mechanical system performance and reduced error rates by streamlining processes and applying data-driven insights. I’m motivated by the belief that every improvement I make, no matter how small, can significantly enhance the efficiency, safety, and sustainability of flight. For me, engineering isn’t just a profession it’s how I bring bold ideas to life.

I am a globally engaged professional with over a decade of experience at the intersection of public policy, sustainability, and international cooperation. My career has taken me from Algiers and Nairobi to Berlin, Tokyo, Chicago, and now Montreal, where I’ve contributed to public strategy, multilateral dialogue, and projects in environmental governance, healthcare systems, infrastructure, and development diplomacy.

I’ve worked with ministries, international organizations, consulting firms, and mission-driven companies to bridge the worlds of government, community, and innovation. As a former advisor to the Algerian Ministry of Environment and Urban Planning, and later a sustainability director in industry, I’ve led initiatives grounded in systems thinking and human-centered approaches.

One of my most valuable lessons is that every country tells a story. Listening—from refugee youth in Beirut to innovators in Tokyo is essential to designing inclusive, future-ready policies. Sustainability, healthcare, and governance are not abstract they are living systems, shaped by communities and built for the future.

The first time anyone paid me to make my art, it literally changed my brain. Suddenly, I valued my work and the time it took to create it. As a result, I gained the confidence to expect to be paid. Eventually, this led to my full-time employment as a cartoonist for one of the world's largest online publishers of comics.

Being paid for art was transformational and I decided to share this experience with as many young artists as possible. This is how I came to found my own small publishing company in 2018. Since then, I've developed relationships with hundreds of artists, thousands of readers, and I was even nominated for an Eisner award for Best Anthology in 2024. For ten beautiful years, I was blessed to work for myself and by myself. Right now, I've decided to explore the opposite.

I am a multidisciplinary artist and independent filmmaker based in Montreal. I have a strong passion for storytelling, filmmaking, and visual arts. My work is rooted in social realities, identity, and culture, often highlighting underrepresented voices and marginalized communities.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Science (Multimedia) from Sudan University of Science and Technology. There, I wrote and directed my first short film, 'Amal' (2012), which tackled the sensitive topic of female circumcision (FGM). Since then, I have developed skills in screenwriting, directing, and production management.

I worked as a creative copywriter in Sudan’s advertising industry, contributing to some of the country's most impactful campaigns. Alongside my professional work, I actively volunteered with NGOs and initiatives, shaping my deep understanding of diverse social issues.

In Montreal, I continue to grow as a filmmaker. I completed a screenwriting and film production certificate at Concordia University’s School of Cinema, photography and videography training, an internship through the Canadian Media Producers Association and two residencies through the Council of Arts of Montreal, in scriptwriting and film production. These experiences have strengthened my ability to bring stories to life through the camera.

Since 2021, I have been working with SINGA Québec as the Responsible for audiovisual productions. I enjoy photographing events, making videos, and designing graphics for digital and print media.

I am interested in contributing to cultural and socially driven projects, collaborating with diverse communities, and using film for connection, empathy, and transformation.

I am a passionate, resilient and impact-focused community development practitioner with over a decade of experience in developing and delivering community empowerment initiatives and programs. One particular project which I led was the design and implementation of vocational training to unskilled young people. By the end of the program, most of them got a sustainable job within the current market.

Bringing positive changes to the community I lived in encouraged me to be both a servant and a leader. I learned to take and lead initiatives. My journey has equipped me to be highly skilled at navigating complex social, economic, and logistical challenges to design and implement sustainable programs that empower vulnerable populations—especially youth and women.

Olena Lahrenn is a dynamic scholar and professional whose career bridges public administration, international relations, and digital diplomacy. Holding a PhD in Political Science and Public Administration from Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University, along with master’s degrees in both Finance and Public Administration, she has cultivated a unique expertise at the intersection of governance, policy, and international cooperation. Being multilingual, including English, French, Ukrainian, Russian, and Turkish, she has dedicated her career to fostering dialogue across cultures, advancing knowledge, and strengthening global partnerships.

Her professional path spans more than a decade of service in academia and international cooperation. As Chief Specialist in the International Relations Division of the National Academy for Public Administration under the President of Ukraine, she led projects that connected institutions across borders, collaborated with global organizations, and promoted the use of digital tools in education and diplomacy. Her research, published in respected journals and conference proceedings, explores topics such as the role of soft power, the evolution of digital diplomacy, and strategies for effective governance in a changing world. Alongside her academic contributions, she has volunteered in community projects in Montreal and contributed to initiatives such as BRAMS (Brain, Music, and Sound International Research Laboratory), affiliated with the Université de Montréal and McGill University.
