McGill, Downtown Campus, Montreal, QC, CA

Career Presentation - Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at 6 p.m.

The Government of Canada is looking for graduates with the right skills and knowledge to work in the field of federal procurement! Not sure what federal procurement really is? That’s okay! It means contracting, or buying goods and services, for the Government of Canada. It includes everything from identifying the Government’s need for a product or service, to reviewing bids, to awarding and managing contracts.

The Deputy Procurement Ombudsman of Canada, David Rabinovitch, will be leading an in-depth and collaborative discussion on careers in federal procurement and what you can do to position yourself as an exceptional candidate. Come learn about the strategic role that the government has envisaged for its current and future procurement specialists as it modernizes its way of doing business on behalf of the Canadian public. The Deputy Procurement Ombudsman will also be discussing his personal experiences navigating the procurement field, as well as sharing tips on applying to federal procurement positions.
