About Sabaa Quao

Sabaa Quao is the founding President of PlusCo Venture Studio, an offshoot of Cossette and Plus Company Canada. Sabaa was previously the Chief Creative and Innovation Officer at Cossette, Canada's largest integrated marketing and advertising agency. The corporate venture studio is fully dedicated to AI and fintech-driven innovation.

He is also the co-founder of Wealthie.works, a financial literacy and investment growth platform for young families. Think of Wealthie like a pension fund for babies. Wealthie is a Seed stage startup launching in Canada and aiming to grow as an international platform for kids and families in the UK, USA, the Caribbean, Africa, and Asia.

No stranger to building international brands, Sabaa co-founded Filminute, the international one-minute film festival, almost 20 years ago. The festival continues to attract submissions and audiences in over 100 countries.

Sabaa is a frequent keynote speaker and an industry advisor to business and creative schools. He is a champion of creativity, entrepreneurship, and business model innovation. Sabaa has led, co-chaired, and been a member of over 20 national and international marketing and short film juries. Sabaa holds degrees in Marketing, Communication and Design, and an MBA.
