Who Should Apply

This program is a good fit for you if you:

  • Are an early or mid-career professional with an undergraduate degree in Business Administration or Commerce and are looking to develop essential data literacy skills and analytical mindset
  • Have a non-business undergraduate degree but have more than two years of experience in a managerial position and want to acquire and apply practical data, analytics knowledge, and skills in order to support your business decisions

Delivery Format and Schedule

This program is offered in an online format as a blend of synchronous and asynchronous (self-directed) components.

Admission Requirements

Applicants who are interested in this program must hold one of the following degrees:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration
  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce

Applicants with a non-business Bachelor's degree should have:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a managerial position

OR

Applicants should have:

  • A solid quantitative and business background
  • A proficiency in Microsoft Excel or other data analysis tools

Applicants may also be considered if:

  • They do not meet the above criteria but have relevant experience in business analysis or other related fields will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Language Requirements

A good command of English is necessary to perform well and complete the program. It is the student’s responsibility to assess their level of proficiency as the McGill School of Continuing Studies will not require any proof.
