Civil Law Workshops

For over 20 years, the Centre Crépeau has organised annual Civil Law Workshops that enrich and stimulate fundamental research in private and comparative law. Each series of workshops typically results in the publication of an edited volume.

The 2026–2028 series of workshops is focused on the role of public registers in the main areas of private law, notably property law, personal law, family law and civil procedure.

The Crépeau Centre thanks the Chambre des notaires du Québec and the Department of Justice Canada for their financial support.
