Associate members have one or more of the following responsibilities and privileges during their 3-year-term:
- Research collaborate with core BME faculty
- Participate in the departmental teaching program
- Supervision of graduate students and/or service on committees in Biological and Biomedical Engineering (BBME) graduate training program or the Master’s in Translational Biomedical Engineering (MTBME) program
- Participate and contribute to the Department of Biomedical Engineering in administration services and/or other activities
- Participate in the BME and BBME research symposium (e.g., Research Day)
