From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to McGill students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

Please note that Car rental companies are currently experiencing shortages across North America. It is recommended to book your car rental as far in advance as possible.

No Charge for additional drivers for rentals originating in Canada - as long as they are a spouse or a colleague
Collision Damage Waiver/Loss Damage Waiver insurance is not included in the rental price. You must either purchase this from the rental agency or provide your own coverage (through a credit card, personal automobile insurance, etc.)
3rd Party Liability insurance included where required by law in Canada (IMPORTANT NOTE: If driving to/within the USA, you must verify and purchase 3^rd Party Liability insurance prior to departure)

Rates are restricted to members of McGill University -sign in using your McGill email address and password to view the restricted content

Registration Form for Faculty/Staff Traveling on University Business

All University business travel must be registered through this form to ensure coverage for any unforeseen medical emergencies while traveling outside your province of residence.

You must log in with your McGill credentials (email and password) to access this form.
