What is a BioBlitz?
From September 18 to 27, McGill is holding its fourth annual campus BioBlitz. A BioBlitz is an event where scientists, naturalists, and the public come together to survey and document as many species as possible in a specific area over a set period.
Who can participate?
This event is open to everyone—students, staff, faculty, and community members of all ages. Whether you're a nature enthusiast, a budding scientist, or just looking for a fun outdoor activity, there is something for everyone.
How to Get Involved
All you need is your phone, the iNaturalist app, and an account. All observations will automatically count towards McGill's Campus BioBlitz, the Campus Nature Challenge, and the Canadian Wildlife Federation’s nationwide BioBlitz.
