Hours

Monday to Friday: 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Saturday: 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

All building hours, including legal holiday closures, are posted on the Building Services website.

The 680 Sherbrooke building entrance features a glass veranda that protects visitors from the elements.

For concerns or issues regarding building maintenance (e.g., ventilation, washrooms), contact the Facilities Call Centre:

First Aid

Defibrillators (AED): There are two automated external defibrillators (AED) at 680 Sherbrooke: one on the 2nd floor and on on the 15th floor, both next to the elevators.

Security

In Case of Emergency
For an emergency requiring an ambulance, firefighters, or police, call 911. If only internal help is required (water leaks, suspicious persons, strange odours, etc.), or if you have been the victim of or witnessed a theft, crime, or other incident, call Security Services at 514-398-3000.

Recycling and Composting

  • Recycling bins: Near the elevators on every floor.
  • Compost bin: On the 13th floor near the open area student lounge (to dispose of food waste, paper towels, napkins, cardboard food containers, coffee grounds, tea bags, and more. See a full listed of compostable items here).
  • Electronics: An Electrobac bin is available in the lobby of the building and can be used to recycle small electronic devices.
  • Batteries: You can drop your batteries (in small quantities) in the red battery recycling bins on the 2nd floor (in the hallway to the left when exiting the elevators).

Vending Machines

Vending machines can be found on the 13th floor in the student lounge (open area).
